Tim and Ernestine O'Donoghue are long-time volunteers in Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton's Restore. A look at the numbers will give you a full understanding of their dedication. Tim has been volunteering with Habitat since 2016 and had over 400 volunteer hours in 2019. Ernestine has been volunteering with Habitat since 2018 and dedicated over 360 volunteer hours in 2019. They both work refurbishing the light fixtures that are sold in our ReStore.
There is no surprise, then that today, they were both awarded the Silver Medallion Presidential Volunteer Service Award. The Presidential Volunteer Service Award is an opportunity to honor the most outstanding volunteers and recognize the impact they make. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too. This description perfectly describes both Tim and Ernestine.
Their awards include a customized certificate, congratulatory letter from the President of the United States, and a silver medallion.
Please take a moment and join us in thanking Tim and Ernestine O'Donogue for their dedicated service to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton and to our mission. We take great delight in seeing our volunteers honored and recognized for their efforts to aid our families and our community.
