Together, we make families stronger through critical repairs!

Through critical repairs we are able to help people like Mark Newberry stay in their homes. A year ago fire destroyed part of Mark’s house, leaving a hole in the roof and many walls heavily damaged. Despite the utilities being cut off, Mark had nowhere else to go and spent the winter sheltered in one room of his house. After six months, he reached out to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton.

At a low point, Mark almost gave up hope. However, thanks to generous donors, we were able to replace his roof and provide other crucial repairs to make his house safe again. This year he will spend the holidays in a warm, dry home.
