Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton is excited to be hosting a dedication ceremony for their latest build on Friday, April 26. After months of waiting, Christina and her son will finally be able to step foot into their new house.
For Christina, the dream of homeownership isn’t just about having a roof over her and three-year-old Giannis’s heads; it’s about breaking the cycle of generational poverty and paving the way for a brighter future. On Friday, April 26, Christina will be the first in her family to own her own home!
This year marks a significant chapter in Christina’s life. Not only is she purchasing her new home at market rate for a 0% interest mortgage, but she’s also on the brink of graduating from Clark State, a testament to her unwavering dedication and perseverance. By balancing her studies with her role as a Drug Counselor at Five Rivers Health Center, Christina exemplifies resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
Join Dayton Habitat for the Porter Family Dedication on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, at 608 W Madison St., New Carlisle, OH 45344, as they celebrate Christina's journey towards providing a safe and stable home for her son. RSVP Here!
