What is Matching?
Many corporations have philanthropic programs that encourage their employees to contribute to charitable organizations. In such programs, the employer often agrees to match their employees' donations or volunteer hours, effectively doubling the impact of the individual's contribution. This creates a powerful incentive for employees to get involved and make a meaningful difference.
