What's the point of team captains if there is not a little competition, right? Every time your team volunteers during the 2026 Women Build, you will earn volunteer hours for our volunteer competition. The three teams that contribute the most volunteer hours will earn a prize and special recognition!

Become a Team Captain!

Women Build Dayton is challenging YOU to become a team captain! Just sign up and bring 4 friends out to the build site. It's as easy as that!

Requirements

The requirements to be a team captain are simple.

You must sign your group up PRIOR to volunteering on our Women Build site.
You and at least 4 of your friends must register for each day you reserve.

That's it! Once you sign yourself up as a team captain, our Volunteer Director will send you a CUSTOM link that allows your friends to sign up for the date(s) you reserved. After that, all you have to do is show up and help us build a new home! No experience required!
