Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton proudly invites the community to celebrate the dedication of their CenterPoint Energy Foundation Build. The ceremony will take place on Friday, July 11, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 104 W Main, Trotwood OH 45426.

Through the dedicated efforts of volunteers, donors, and other community supporters, Dynasty and her children will soon move into their new home in Trotwood. After the Memorial Day Tornadoes in 2019, Dynasty and her family found themselves displaced and reliant on others. Now, thanks to Dynasty's resilience and Dayton Habitat's program, her family will have a safe and stable home.

Through Habitat’s unique homeownership model, families like Dynasty's achieve stability by purchasing their homes with a 0% interest mortgage. This program also empowers future homeowners to complete homeownership courses and contribute a minimum of 275 “sweat equity” volunteer hours. For Dynasty and her family, the CenterPoint Energy Foundation Build offers the chance to establish roots in a supportive community where they can cook healthy meals and make family memories.
