You can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton. Your gift of up to $108,000 ($216,000 for couples) will not count as income because it is paid directly from your IRA to Dayton Habitat, so you will not have to pay taxes on it.
